I just saw the advert for the return of ‘Kate Plus Eight’! To be honest, this is all starting to turn into some sort of maths problem; J + K + 8 = K + 8 – J. All maths aside, I am a bit excited about the set of shows involving the Gosselins coming back to TLC. The kids will have grown a great deal since last year and I seriously miss little Aiden! (Not in a stalker-y kind of way… but in a, OH GET YOUR HEAD AWAY FROM THERE!)

After spending yet another night not able to sleep, I decided to surf around the Interwebs and see what the overall response is to Kate and the brood returning to television. There definitely is a mixed response. However, some of the responses continue to drive me completely mad; the fact that people are calling Kate a “Slave Driver”. People actually  believe those children are being “forced to work!”

It’s not like the kids are being given a script and made to act. They just live life and the cameras are there! Why can’t you people get an understanding of this? They don’t have to get up at Stupid O’Clock and be on set and do five hundred takes of a scene. Life will be just the same, only cameras will follow what they do.

I just can’t get over how people react to the whole thing. Why aren’t they ranting over that creepy Duggar family? That woman has officially become a baby-making slot machine! Let’s not delve into the fact that they are their own church!

Anyway, I’ll be watching ‘Kate Plus Eight’ starting June 6th at 9 pm on TLC. Yes, I said it like that on purpose. If anyone has a problem with it, then don’t watch the sodding show! Otherwise, let’s all settle back and watch the ten shades of awesome that is The Gosselin Family!
